Welcome to the Psychedelitron – A psychedelic playground for the dislocated mind
A large scale multi projector interactive and immersive light and sound installation inspired by 1960’s OP and POP artists Bridget Riley, Victor Vasarely, Jean-Pierre Yvaral, Richard Allen and Pop Artists Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein (and others) – with a hint of the 1960’s quirky TV shows The Avengers (Patrick Macnee) and the Prisoner (Patrick McGoohan)
The installation envelops the audience in a continuous multi-layered stream of light, enticing them to move within the hanging shards of translucent fabric and slowly rotating geometric shapes.
The installation is controlled by the audience via six illuminated control pods each controlling a different facet of the projection stream.
