Did you know the original lava lamp was invented in Poole in the 1960s by local company Mathmos? To celebrate Light Up Poole 2020, Poole Museum has teamed up with Mathmos to create a range of engaging activities. Come and take a selfie at our ‘Mathmos Lava Lamp Window’ installation, enjoy swirling projections and follow the trail around the museum to our retro lava lounge for a chill out with a difference.
